The Skinny On The Ryde
Wow, you made it to the bottom of the page! You must have some free time on your hands. If you're wondering why we have this large group of text at the bottom of the page then listen up. We want people to find us on Google, so we need to stuff our page with key-words like "surfing t shirts", and "funny t shirts". So if things sound a bit awkward just know that we have whored ourselves out to the almighty search engines. With that said, enjoy our sales pitch to Google.

First off, The Ryde is an art driven clothing line born in Laguna Beach California between the months of January and December of the year 2002. One day we decided that we should start a company and make "surfing apperal". The more we thought about it the more we wanted to make "cool t shirts", "retro t shirts", and "Trucker Hats". We decided that we should call our company The Ryde. When the rest of the action sports industry was making totally uncool logo based designs and surfing apparel we set out to create a brand built around artistic designs and nifty "surfing clothes". Our clothing is an outward expression of the way we view the world around us. When we look at the world we see people in need of "t shirt designs" with cool "surf art". Some might say that these are merely "novelty t shirts", but we think that we make some seriously "cool t shirts".

The Ryde's clothing caters to good-humored, laid-back individuals and we like to think that we have four or five "funny t shirts". Ok, maybe six. Some people think that our "surfing t shirts" are funny, but we didn't do that on purpose. It was a happy accident. Sometimes we doodle in our notebooks and decide to make those drawings into "art t shirts" or art prints. If that art is surf related we make surf art prints. If not, we just make art prints. If we decide to put those doodles onto t shirts then we call those "art t shirts". You might wonder if you can get your favorite "retro t shirt designs" on a sweatshirt. That is something that people often wonder about. A good way to find out if we sell that "cool design" on a sweatshirt is to visit our "sweatshirts" page. Did I mention that we sell fleece? Yes fleece. Sometimes we put surf art on our fleece. Other times we look at our cool t shirts and decide that we should put that cool design on fleece. That's fun!
